I hope you don’t mind me contacting you out of the blue – but I was wondering if you know anyone who would be interested in a volunteering opportunity at Redcliffe College (www.redcliffe.org) the mission training college in Gloucester where I work part-tine (along with my ECPN work). Our volunteers work at the College for part of the day, and have room and food provided, along with some pocket money. The college has men, women and families from over 25 nationalities living and studying together - and volunteers are part of the college community. Volunteering would be a great ‘gap’ opportunity for anyone who wanted to improve their English, or spend some time in the UK. We’ve a video of the college at www.redcliffe.org/video
The following is from an email from David Marriot, our Facilities Manager…..
UK regulations mean that we can only accept EU passport holders. We URGENTLY need to receive applications from suitable people aged 18-30. They need to be committed, hard-working, adaptable people who are able to apply themselves to working in a team and who would benefit by being a part of Redcliffe. Does this sound like anyone who you know? If so, please ask them to look at and consider the web information at www.redcliffe.org - click on the ‘volunteer programme’ link on the home page.
